Do you ever have the experience that someone, perhaps even a close someone, is shocked you do not kow what they are thinking? Afterall, how could you have done x, y. and z...didn't you know? Sometimes, when I am in this situation, I stop and ask myself- could I have done better thinking through the situation and perceiving the hidden message- or messages? If I am honest, and just hit the pause button, could I have done better? Often times the answer is- yes, and I am left with a silent commitment to do better. Other times... well...other times, there just is no way I could possibly know what someone, even that special someone, is thinking!
